This is one of my favourite smoothie recipes. I enjoy making the smoothie often and sharing it with my wife. The orange flower water in the recipe gives the smoothie a wonderful fragrance and blends beautifully with all the other ingredients. Orange flower water (also known as, orange blossom water) is used extensively in the Moroccan cuisine.
- Yields: 3 servings
- 1 banana (ripe)
- 1 cup freshly squeezed orange juice (without pulp)
- 2 cups 2% or 3% milk
- 2 teaspoons honey
- 1 teaspoon orange flower water
- Sprig of mint (optional)
- Place all the ingredients together and blend for one minute at high speed or until mixture is smooth and frothy. Pour into high ball glasses and top with a sprig of fresh mint.
- Feel free to share my recipe with your family and friends. I would love to hear your comments after you try it.
